Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and TV personality best known as the anchor on The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl lives in a family that is turbulent. She spent most part of her life looking after Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl was plagued by problems with her mom. Sheryl says that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father for getting too close. Sheryl joined up the military right after her graduation from college. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV profession in the year 1992 when she appeared as a frequent participant on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted The show Oh Drama! The show has also featured her as host of The Talk since 2011. She's appeared in fictitious series including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
