Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu was born in America. She is an American actress, a singer as well as a voice actress. She's attractive and intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances in some popular series her fame was boosted by joining the cast of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. She translated her newfound fame into roles on the big screen in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. She then delivered a superlative performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren Ishii In QT's Kill Bill Volume 1. Also, she portrayed leading parts in box office flops such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then started voicing prominent characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen movie, did not yield results. Southland, a critically acclaimed series of police dramas that featured Liu in recurring roles, helped her reestablish her role as an actress. Liu selects her roles carefully in order to ensure she is not typecast in a competitive industry. While she's proud of her heritage however, she is not letting that limit her creativity.
