Dolly Parton was born on the 19th of January 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She lived with 12 other children. Her vivid imagination helped her escape from the pressures of daily life. Before she could read or write and compose her own music. After 8 years of age, she was playing her first guitar. When she was 11 years old when she was 11, she began singing at Knoxville Tenn's local radio station. Gold Band Records is a small label that is independent. Even though she became a local star while in High School, she knew her ambitions were much bigger. In the exact day that she was able to graduate from the high school in 1964. Dumb Blonde (1967) and Something Fishy (1968) were the first two albums to chart on Monument Records. The syndicated television show of Porter Wagoner required the services of a new singer by this time. Parton was a part of the Grand Ole Opry 1969 after contracting to RCA Records. She quit Wagoner's act in 1974 when her solo hits like Joshua Coat of Many Colors & Jolene outsold the collaborations. Parton composed I Will Always love You to Wagoner after their breakup. The song reached the top of the charts at. 1 for the first time since 1974.
