Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and former model is now a retired actor. Elson started her career in TV as a child model and actress. Her best-known role is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson on CBS' science fiction series. Andrea auditioned to play the lead in ALF the smash 1986 show. She was a finalist. She continued to work throughout her career on successful TV shows and Movies of the Week before taking a break from the entertainment industry to focus on raising her children. Andrea Elson, Andrea Elson who played Lynn Tanner the teenaged child of Kate Willie and Kate Willie, appeared in ALF in a time which was especially challenging to Andrea Elson. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of the sitcom-viewing audience was difficult. Elson, who was green eyed New York City native grew in her travels due to the advertising job her father was employed in. When she reached 10, Andrea had already been traveling to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent. The part she auditioned for was awarded. Fusco supported the idea by saying, "ALF can drink beer due to the fact that he's over 285." NBC advised Fusco to keep ALF from drinking in the presence of kids because it's an unsuitable model. Fusco thought ALF could drink alcohol even as an adult. In 1995 he was diagnosed with lymphoma. He was treated successfully and was remissioned until 2019. The disease ended his life on the 26th of June 2019 when he was 75 years old. He died at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
