Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk - a talented actor as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna Silk was born to both a British father as well as an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. Her appearances in commercials were numerous when she was a child. Anna relocated to Toronto, Ontario, to pursue her acting. The decade that followed, she eventually relocated into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in 2009. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith in 2011 after converting to Judaism. The couple was married civilly in December of the same year, and they then renewed their vows at the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton the month of April in 2011.
