Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone (pronounced [di:pIka p@dUko:ne":" or "pa:dUko:n]; born 5 January 1986) is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Hindi film productions. It is among the actresses with the highest salaries in India with her accomplishments that are the three Filmfare Awards. Time Magazine ranked Padukone as one of the 100 most influential Influential people around the world in 2018. The magazine also presented her with The TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone is the child to Badminton's the champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born in and grew up in Bangalore. She participated in the national championships as a teenager but she gave up playing for the sake of becoming a model. The model soon began receiving offers for movie roles. She started her acting career in 2006 when she played her character's title in The Kannada film, Aishwarya. Padukone later played a duo role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in her first Bollywood film, the romantic Om Shanti Om (2007) that won her an award called the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
